We are proud to provide industry-leading, specialist and high-quality personalised homecare for people with complex neurological conditions and respiratory conditions. We provide a person-centred package delivered by our highly trained and skilled carers.

All of our complex home care packages are supervised by nurses, with advice from consultants and clinical experts who collectively have decades of experience in leading neurodisability services.

Our Pathways

  • We work closely with Case Managers and Brain Injury Lawyers who engage with us to establish care packages for clients with complex needs.

  • We work with Continuing Healthcare teams within the Integrated Care Boards in the NHS.

  • Clients could be discharged home from rehabilitation units or acute hospital wards.

  • Clients or their families can directly approach us to discuss their clinical needs and set up a care package.

  • We can assist and support in emergency scenarios where care packages have collapsed or where current caregivers require a respite break.

Specialist home care for people with complex neurological and respiratory needs

  • Our staff are equipped to manage people with respiratory conditions, ventilator support, or people dependent on tracheostomy.

    A ‘specialists-led care team’ provides the best respiratory care, giving clients the stability and assurance that they are in safe hands. Respiratory interventions include:

    Non-invasive ventilation

    Invasive ventilation

    Weaning from ventilation

    We work with Respiratory Consultants, Consultant Respiratory Nurses from nationally renowned ventilation outreach units to enhance our client’s care.

    Our care staff are supported by specialist clinicians (Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Specialist Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech and Language therapists, Psychologists) who act as our partners.

    Our panel of nationally and internally renowned experts are available to advice the specialist clinicians and provide second opinion where needed.

  • Our expertly trained team of carers are able to support people living with spinal cord injuries to remain in their own home. Our care team is led by a 'team lead' who will be an experienced carer and will guide the team on a day-to-day basis. 

    Specialist clinicians are on hand to provide advice to carers on clinical management and work alongside Case Managers to achieve set goals. 

    A risk-based care plan will be formulated by the clinical team with clear unambiguous instructions to the care team on the rehabilitation and management plan. 

    Our multidisciplinary team train the carers in key areas including managing autonomic dysreflexia, management of catheters, use of assistive technology devices to promote independence, administration of medication, non-invasive ventilation, the management of PEGs/RIGs and tracheostomy care. 

    Where patients need additional clinical advice, we have access to nationally and internationally renowned experts to provide these services. 

    We also have partner specialist service providers who can complete 24-hr postural management assessments, wheelchair and bed positioning system assessments and prescription, spasticity management, splinting and signposting for additional specialist services.

  • Our carers are trained by specialist clinicians with extensive knowledge of neurological conditions.

    Our team are equipped to provide care for people with a variety of neurological conditions including Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Hypoxic brain injury, Spinal Cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington's disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Disorder of Consciousness, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy.

    Our team work with a Multidisciplinary team and carry over tasks that assist with rehabilitation, maintaining stability and preventing complications from arising.

  • Our highly skilled care team are trained to work with people following brain injury who may present with physical impairments, cognitive impairments and also with those who may present with behaviours that challenge. Our team are also trained in the management of patients in disorders of consciousness.

    Our care team are trained to work with multidisciplinary professionals who will be assisting clients with their rehabilitation or long-term care/ management.

    Transitioning could be from a paediatric setting to an adult setting.
